Thats how it works, they raise the wage and everything goes up in price. Nothing changes, still equals out to the same. I got on section 8 this year and they raised my rent 30 bucks! I dont know if its inflation or if its because I now have assistance, either way its criminal.

Although I tend to complain I'm doing o.k. I do much better than minimum wage. At the end of the month I am still able to put a little $$$ away into my savings. But with home and car repairs it doesn't seem to stay there for very long.

My landlord raised my rent 25 bucks as soon as a overhyped news update regarding the corporation I work for of pay raises for employees. It was not regarding employees in the state I live in. So, I have 0 money to save and hours have been cut so bad that nobody below management makes a living wage.
Hope things change. I got 4 days this week, but 2 next week. Smh. Cant afford my place anymore after next month.

But the grocery bill is CRAZY! Every time I go grocery shopping it seems the prices have gone up!
