so there are 12 signs. Look at the picture and the line that makes in in 1/2 (360 & 180) pisces & libra (odd to me) also note that their are 3 signs which have duality (aside from libra with 2 scales of balance) Pisces Gemini Sagittarius libra: scales which is 2 non living things pictured (unless you think of fish scales....Pisces or balancing life) lol (I'm looking through a book I have, it's making me think-shocking, I know)

I'm a Gemini/Cancer cusp, so basically I'm both of those. Blessing and curse, because it means that while i'm mercurial and have a very strong dual nature, I'm also very emotional/deep feeling/intuitive and when you mix that with Gemini traits, it can be tough sometimes. At the same time, I feel my Cancer aspects are some of my best gifts, and the duality of being a Gemini helps me to see both sides of issues and gives me a broad range of interests. But I need to be re-charged a lot...especially with the Cancer aspect hanging on too. The tendency is for me to have bursts of energy/creativity, and then periods of re-charge. Also a Moon Scorpio and an Ascendant Leo....which again, Moon sign is your shadow self, so my shadow/emotional self tends to reflect Scorpio traits (very loyal but if become an enemy, can remember past wounds and strike when least expected), and Ascendant Leo basically just means I'm ambitious and that I see myself ultimately as belonging in some kind of leadership role, whether it be involving other people or just being a lone wolf and being my own leader. Before I knew anything about astrology, I knew I was a Gemini and that I was on the Cancer cusp, but I didn't know what that really meant. So I could see how Gemini fit me, but I didn't see the whole picture. But since I've learned about being on the Cancer cusp, it now explains everything. I hold out room to be open that astrology is in fact just a bunch of bunk - but so much fits me, and so much fits other people that I know, and I don't think it's an unreasonable system when you really get down into it and study what's going on. It's usually maligned by people who don't know anything deeply about it and are uncomfortable with the idea that there could be other factors besides themselves that have influenced (or just merely indicated) what type of personality-type they are disposed to be. Astrology is widely accepted in parts of the world that have a more organic cultural view. In Russia, where my wife is from, astrology and psychic phenomena are generally accepted by most people, and it's not unusual for people to know someone who has a psychic gift and uses it for the benefit of others in the community. My mother in law knows a lady that she occasionally visits, and she has been more accurate than not on things she wouldn't have had any way of knowing. I also have personally had experiences with either the Tarot or other cards, with a psychic present to help interpret - and some of the things said, or what the cards showed, were startlingly right on. In other words - there are bigger things at work in the universe than the general scientific community acknowledges or understands, that much is for sure. Also, this is a really excellent book on the subject - gets into the principles and theory of astrology itself, or the philosophy of how it works/why it works and then gets into the nitty gritty details of the signs and calculations and how they all relate to each other. www.amazon.com/Alan-Okens-Complete-Astrology-Classic-ebook/dp/B00B1SLRWK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1415933470&sr=8-1&keywords=Complete+Astrology

this is the book I have you went on a tangent about your zodiac! you missed the fact you are a mutable air sign. I do think that the planets have an effect on people. people dont pay attention to it that part of reading their horoscope

astro.com is a really good site - you need to put in your birth time for an accurate reading. It takes into account your ascendant, moon sign etc. I also find it strange that the planets' locations when you were born can affect your personality - but I've compared other people's signs/charts and they don't fit me as well as the chart that I got! I also had a co-worker who could guess people's star signs after working with them for a little while. She was almost always right! I've also been able to guess star signs of some celebrities - mainly Gemini - I can recognise my own kind the best!

so, my wife talked to a Russian astrologer over skype and got my chart read, analyzing the course of the planets over my lifetime and the most powerful planets that are supposed to influence me. Told me some pretty interesting stuff, and a lot of it really added up and was shockingly accurate about me, events in my life so far, etc.

All I gotta say is, this past Mercury retrograde (January 21 - February 11) has really been something.
The board activity here at Shadowland went to a virtual stand-still, my school had tons of technological problems in the classroom, there were way more miscommunications than usual in my life at home, at work, and with the world in general, my own computer started having slow down issues, my relationship with my mother was strained (once again) due to a communication mishap, and the list could go on.

Try an American one sometime and a European one too.......why not compare? Yeah, an American one would be worthwhile sometime - but probably a lot more expensive. This lady was just someone she knew from a message board and she only charged 30 bucks for a whole session, which lasted over an hour.

As many people that I've encountered in my life. Pisces are the quite the liars of the zodiac.
