I've scheduled an appointment by phone with my GP today to have some sleeping pills prescribed to me. It's been 6 months since I've been sleeping badly currently in life having dissociation and stress and anxiety attacks at night. I hope with them, I can sleep well at last.

I wish I could get some. All they prescribe for me is Ambien, and that doesnt keep me asleep long.

Did you get sleeping pills? If so, what kind? I am going to ask my doctor again on my next appointment. He prescribed some but they suck. I want Xanax.

i don't like pills but acknowledge that sometimes we need them. About once year or so I need to knock myself out of a bad sleep pattern, I like Sleep-eze. Here in Canada you don't need a prescription for them and can buy term right off the shelf.
You will sleep and wake up the next morning without a pill hangover or feeling like a zombie. Stay away from Xanax as those things can make you feel depressed in time.

Take melatonin if you can
Or smoke some weed to put you to sleep, if it works.
Better than prescriptions that can cause potential addiction.

Isn't this an off label sleep aid since it's mainly used for schizophrenia, bipolar, mood disorder, anxiety, ptsd? |

That's the kind of response my grandson's mother will give when she's using. Maybe you shouldn't post about it if you dont want people asking a question. I ask questions. I think that's just her way of trying to politely but directly avoid a convo she's having anxiety about, but I agree, it's a forum and people are going to ask questions. It'd be more polite to just not answer then tell someone to stop talking to them. I don't think she's intentionally trying to be mean or rude, though. |
